InTuition Online Programme (IOP) Portal
IOP is the InTuition's new suite of programmes for online delivery.
We offer IOP both to students who have taken a home tuition course, and those who just want to study online.
Setting up for IOP
What do you need?
IOP courses are delivered via the Zoom platform. You will need to create a Zoom account - it is a simple process and takes just a few minutes.
You will need a computer - PC or Mac - with a microphone and webcam. You'll also need a strong, reliable internet connection.
Trial Lessons
The trial lesson is your shop window - your opportunity to establish a good rapport with the student and encourage them to continue studing with you.
Course Administration
As always we keep this to a minimum:
- Full study materials are available here.
- For each course, complete a Session Record showing what was taught.
- Submit your Claims Form to ensure prompt payment.

Online Teaching Etiquette
A few things to consider:
- Your backdrop. Think of what’s behind you when teaching online. Make it as plain or tidy as possible.
- Whilst it’s not a fashion shoot, it is worth being presentable, and not eating or drinking during a session.
- Materials: Prepare in advance and share anything you plan to use with the student.
- Be on time – preferably early!
