Course Overview

InTuition have been training Air Traffic Controllers, ground staff and Cabin Crew for over 30 years. We also deliver one-to-one to pilots looking to achieve and / or maintain their Level 4 or Level 6 according to the ICAO language requirements.

Who is it for?

Ideal for clients working in the aviation industry, particularly pilots, and Air Traffic Controllers, but also technical engineers and anyone involved with customer relations from Ground staff to cabin crew.

Course Content

To develop fluency and work on pronunciation
Communicate effectively in the context of Aviation using specific vocabulary
Comprehension and listening skills work
Structure and interactions
Choice of study topics depends on their job role within the industry

Sample Programme

By the end of the course, students will be able to:

Accurately use aviation-specific terminology in both spoken and written communication.
Communicate effectively in typical and emergency aviation scenarios.
Enhance listening comprehension skills for understanding real-life ATC communications.
Improve pronunciation and clarity in radiotelephony exchanges.
Experience and discuss British culture and its influence on aviation.

It was the best experience I've had in my life. I lived like a true Englishwoman for three weeks and I had a lot of fun with my host family. Ken and Mary are lovely people; they put me at ease right from the start and made me feel at home. Mary is really nice and good as a teacher. Her lessons were always different and interesting. Ken is really kind, helpful and a great cook. I also met the various family members, who were really friendly. I visited lots of places and I learned a lot of english. At the end, when we said goodbye, I was very sad to leave cos’ I couldn’t have had a better family. They remained in my heart. I hope to see them again soon.
