Helen is one of our leading online tutors with experience in advanced speaking skills and pronunciation. A qualified EFL teacher with a certificate in TESOL, she has a Post Graduate degree in Education and a diploma in multi-lingual dyslexia and a lecturer in language learning development.

Ann is an EFL teacher and holds a TESOL Certificate. Before teaching, she was employed in the Hotel and Tourism industry, and has taught various nationalities and all levels of students including children’s classes.

She has taught in-company classes for Business Personnel and the Cambridge IELTS Exams in Brazil, Spain and the UK.

Mary W

Mary has a Bachelor of Education degree and holds the CELTA qualification for teaching English to speakers of other languages.

She has taught at Lewes college as a trainee teacher for new English language learners. She has been a primary school teacher for many years too.

Brenda is a qualified EFL teacher with a certificate in TESOL. She also holds a BA Hons in English Language and Literature.

She ran her own language school and has been teaching English for over thirty years with experience in IELTS exams and business English.

Tyrone B

Tyrone holds a degree plus an MA in TESOL and Linguistics and also the CELTA, He is a trained HNC Software Engineering, plus holds his Pilots Licence. He has taught for some leading British Council accredited schools and specialises in Cambridge Exams, including Academic IELTS. As a private pilot he also delivers English for Aviation.

Diana has extensive expertise in EFL and ESOL for adult learners and children. She holds the Cambridge certificate (CELTA) and diploma (DELTA) awards.

She has a lot of experience of teaching on-line and is one of our most successful Vis-a-Vis tutors.

Margaret C

Margaret has 20 years of experience in 1 to 1 English language teaching: in language schools as well as home tuition and online courses. In addition to the CELTA qualification to teach English to adults, Margaret has also been awarded the Diploma level qualification (DELTA). . Margaret is also an examiner for Cambridge English IELTS exams.

Karen S

Karen holds a Cert TESOL plus a degree in Business with Spanish. She has worked in business before returning to teaching.

Rated outstanding by her students of Business English she also coaches for IELTS.

Debi C

Debi has over 21 years of experience in teaching English and business English as well. In addition to a degree in English literature and achieving the CELTA qualification to teach English as a foreign language, Debi is also completing a Masters in English language and literature.

Debi enjoys getting to know her students and helping them to achieve their long-term goals.

David L

David holds a CELTA certificate for teaching English and a BA in Law. David has taught Business English in Slovenia for three years and has been an online tutor since 2011.

Meg was a very nice and helpful person. She cooked wonderfully all week. The room was very cosy. The lessons were very informative. She was a great teacher. I really hope I can go to her again.

It was the best experience I've had in my life. I lived like a true Englishwoman for three weeks and I had a lot of fun with my host family. Ken and Mary are lovely people; they put me at ease right from the start and made me feel at home. Mary is really nice and good as a teacher. Her lessons were always different and interesting. Ken is really kind, helpful and a great cook. I also met the various family members, who were really friendly. I visited lots of places and I learned a lot of english. At the end, when we said goodbye, I was very sad to leave cos’ I couldn’t have had a better family. They remained in my heart. I hope to see them again soon.

Moira and her family were exceptional. Very hospitable and kind. Moira was an excellent and very initiative teacher. Moira is also a very good cook. The food was varied and very good. Her house is beautiful and very large. Close to York. Don't have any doubts about having a study experience with her.As regards the organisation, the opinion is extremely positive. My daughter's English has really improved and he has had some important personal growth experiences.
